Audit and assurance

Statutory audit and commissariat aux comptes in Djibouti

An independent opinion that strengthens the confidence of your shareholders, banks, supervisory authorities and partners.

Companies that exceed the legal thresholds, banks and insurers, public enterprises and many foreign owned subsidiaries must appoint a statutory auditor. AXIAL Advisory and Audit carries out these mandates in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing, with a method designed to disturb your teams as little as possible and to deliver reports on time for your general meeting.

Our partners have audited banks, public utilities, port and logistics companies, donor funded projects and foundations in Djibouti. This experience of regulated and sensitive environments translates into precise risk assessment, documented work and recommendations that management can actually use.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are most often asked before an engagement.

Public limited companies and companies exceeding the thresholds set by law, as well as banks, insurers and regulated institutions. We check your situation free of charge during the first meeting.

For a medium sized company, the interim phase takes a few days before the year end and the final phase one to two weeks after the accounts are available. Reports are issued at least fifteen days before the general meeting.

No. Independence rules prohibit it. If AXIAL keeps your accounts, we will recommend another registered auditor for the mandate, and vice versa.

We discuss them with management first. Corrected before the closing, they do not affect the opinion. If they remain, the report is qualified and explains the reasons, as the standards require.
